Rafael Nadal is featured in the June issue of Vogue along with a series of one-of-a-kind images by famed photographer Bruce Weber and a behind-the-scenes video (below) of the tennis star warming up in front of his fans.
In his interview with Vogue's Gaby Wood, Nadal admits that despite fighting his way to tennis's number-one spot, it can also be lonely at the top. And forget about being lonely at home! Says Nadal, "Being home alone at night makes me a bit nervous. If I'm at home alone I have to sleep on the sofa—I can't face going to bed. I'm there with the TV on and all the lights on. I'm not very brave about anything in life." He smiles, looks down at the floor. "In tennis, yes. In everything else, not very."
