It looks like True Blood hottie Mechad Brooks (a.k.a. Benedict 'Eggs') is set to join ABC as a series regular in the network's legal drama, The Deep End, according to The Hollywood Reporter. What's not known is whether or not Mechad's 'Eggs' will continue on with HBO's True Blood. My guess is.....no.

True Blood's Mehcad Brooks is a sweaty HOT mess after competing in the Tag the World celebrity charity triathlon in Waikiki, HI yesterday. The triathlon consisted of a 700m swim, a 12 mile road bike, and a 5k run - benefiting It Takes An Ohana (ITAO), a charity offering resources and information to those in the community concerned with protecting the interests of children and youth in out-of-home care.
