LEONARDO DICAPRIO IS A CLASSIC

Distinguished, dashing, and looking like a classic movie star from Hollywood's golden age, Leonardo DiCaprio accepted the Ensemble Performance Award for Revolutionary Road at the 2009 Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala yesterday in Palm Springs, California. A humble DiCaprio told the Associated Press, "I’m just doing what I know how to do, and that’s make movies and hopefully get people to go see them so I can continue to make more movies."

LEONARDO DICAPRIO ON PARADE

Leonardo DiCaprio is featured in the 10/5 issue of Parade magazine. Just back from attending his grandmother "Oma's" funeral, DiCaprio is pensive...telling Parade "I feel like a whole era in my life is over."  But not all is gloomy for one of the world's biggest stars. Leonardo DiCaprio and Knut, a polar-bear cub born in captivity at the Berlin Zoo, grace the cover of this year's Vanity Fair Green Issue (May 2007).  Shot on location in both Berlin and Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon (southeast Iceland), it seems only fitting that these two be paired...an environmental activist and a symbol of what we stand to lose to global warming.
