With the summer season officially in full swing, the editors of MensHealth.com have announced their first annual list of the “Best Summer Bodies.” Comprised of actors, musicians, and professional athletes, the lists reveal the hottest beach-ready bodies, all of which are featured in an online photo gallery. Accompanying the images are specific workout routines, exercises and tips to help readers achieve these healthy, fit bodies.
Securing the top spot for the men is Twilight star and Men’s Health July/August 2010 cover model, Kellan Lutz. To maintain his tight six-pack abs, Lutz uses a total-body circuit workout that includes a mix of core, upper-body, and lower-body exercises. Rounding out the top five are 2) Matthew McConaughey, 3) Taylor Lautner, 4) Zac Efron, and 5) Mario Lopez. There's also a list of 25 women finalists with model Brooklyn Decker coming in at #1!

Speaking of his abs, it was at an eighth grade water park party that Lutz realized the power of his abs. “Before then, I never knew abs were attractive,” he says. “Where I grew up in Arizona, you would never see anyone without a shirt on at school. Kellan Lutz was scheduled to appear at a three-day Twilight convention in New Jersey this coming weekend but was pulled from the event's line-up yesterday. A a publicist for the event told Life & Style that Kellan (and co-star Ashley Green) "had to pull out of appearing at the convention due to a change in their schedules." Clearly, staying in shape is more important to Kellan!

I have a pool in my backyard." Good thing he does. Another love..."I have a candy drawer and I'm terrible with it. Gummy bears, gummy worms, chocolate, everything. I eat so much," he told Seacrest. Building on roles in Stick it, Prom Night and the CW's new 90210, hot stuff Kellan Lutz will soon return to the big screen in the modern day vampire love story, Twilight. Dishing on his new role as the loveable and laughable Emmett Cullen, Lutz tells Saturday Night Magazine's Carla Thorpe that he feels a lot like Emmet...having grown up in the Midwest as the big brother-type. And as for all the spotlight attention that Twilight is casting on this rising star, Lutz says he's very flattered. "Everyone I have met has been so kind and sweet. We know what big fans of Twilight they are so we just want to please them as much as we can."
