VANITY FAIR TAKES A TRIP WITH JOHNNY DEPP

Vanity Fair takes a trip with cover star Johnny Depp to his private Caribbean island for their July 2009 issue. VF's Douglas Brinkley reports that “Johnny Depp’s Great Escape" is pretty damn great." Says Depp of the island, “I don’t think I’d ever seen any place so pure and beautiful. You can feel your pulse rate drop about 20 beats. It’s instant freedom.”

Depp also talks to Brinkley about his hobbies, filming his new movie - Public Enemies, his favorite Hollywood icon, his approach to acting, and which famous fictional character he'd like to play.

Johnny Depp takes the cover of Esquire's first issue of 2008.  Leading up the the release of Sweeney Todd: The Demom Barber of Fleet Street, I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot more of homorific heart throb.  Inside the mag, Johnny takes the stage with Tim Burton in an interview by Cal Fussman.
