BRITNEY at WHITE PARTY!!!! (?)

I know we're all on Britney overload right now, but I just got word that Jeffrey Sanker, promoter of WHITE PARTY, has invited Britney to perform at White Party, VEGAS, taking place during Columbus Day weekend (Oct. 5-8, 2007).  I'm going to White Party, VEGAS, so I can only hope that Britney takes Jeffrey up on his offer because... well, I guess because I'm part of her loyal gay community.  And if Britney goes, Jeffrey's inviting HER BIGGEST FAN too!

“I would love to offer Britney the chance to return to...the Palms Hotel, her own ‘ground zero,’ where all those are saying she so ‘imploded,’ and redeem herself with her very loyal gay community," Sanker said.

UCLA - Mad Undie Run

Last week, 5,000 UCLA students dashed through campus in nothing but their undies to celebrate the end of finals week.  Among the mad-dashers was the Go Softwear team who, after being put together by openly gay student David Volk, dashed about in custom-made school-colored undies provided by Go Softwear.  And to think...at my school, we weren't even allowed to wear SHORTS! (I'll let you guess where I went to college.)

Navy Boys: Greased Up, Hosed Down & Piled Deep

As part of a long-standing tradition at the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, plebes scale the 21-foot Herndon Monument which has been covered with more than 200 pounds of lard.  While attempting to scale this "pole", they navy boys are hosed down to make the climb to the top even more gay hot difficult.  Once at the top, the goal is to switch a white plebe "Dixie cup" hat with an upperclassman's hat.  Once all is said and done, the plebes then earn their new title of fourth classmen.

Is that You Mom?

LOL- I laughed my ass off when I saw this...the cheezy outfits and music, the 80's-style/Flashdance hair-DOs, the teal and animal print leggings, the video editing - they were so spot on!  I remember, as a little boy, laughing hysterically as my mom exercised to 80's videos.  She'd even get mad and make me leave the room so I couldn't watch.  I thought this skit was one of the best SNL skits I've seen in a long time. 

Reigning In The Rain

Well, as usual, PRINCE stole the show.  At least for me.  All dressed-up in a sky-blue suit and orange blouse, the little Prince was nothing short of fantastic!  He performed a compilation of hits including Bob Dylan's, "All Along the Watchtower," "Proud Mary" and as the rain poured down, the all-too fitting, "Purple Rain".  Given the downpour, the show played on without an apparent glitch - not even a nipple-slip!

With the glyph-shaped stage trimmed in purple lights, sexy twin dancers, a neon-clad marching band, and a stellar big bang ending, Prince hit all the right notes, proving that he can still put on a show like no other.
