Jill Scott - Spring Summer Feeling - Crates Remix Fundamentals Vol 1

Hidden Beach serves up the perfect Spring Summer Feeling with the launch of a new remix compilation series entitled Crates: Remix Fundamentals Volume 1, a collection of Jill Scott hits remixed and re-grooved by some of today's most influential DJ’s and Producer/Remixers including Ron Trent, Mr Mig, Ca$e Boogie, and DJ Jazzy Jeff. The first of three remix volumes for Jill Scott from her former label home, Crates: Remix Fundamentals Volume 1 captures the spirit of the season, pairing Jill Scott's soulful vocals with upbeat tempos and catchy dance beats.

The centerpiece of Crates: Remix Fundamentals Volume 1 is Ron Trent's mix of "Spring Summer Feeling," a lush ten minute plus House music re-tooling of Jill Scott’s homage to Minnie Ripperton that will transport audiences poolside in Miami. “Voices like Jill's are a credit to the expansive legacy of our culture," said Trent. "We need more like her. It was an honor to have offered my rendition of "Spring Summer Feeling."
