If we learn anything from Fashion156.com's day at the lake, it's that swim-shorts are less in-your-face than skin-tight Speedos.  And for a modern yet retro edge try wearing them high on the waist, not hanging off the hips as has been the norm for years now. Sunburn never looks great, so a shirt, vest or unbuttoned cardigan are a great way to protect shoulders and come in very handy when the sun suddenly disappears.  More after the JUMP -->
