Despite his complicated love life in his recent flick, The Time Traveler’s Wife, Eric Bana tells Women’s Health magazine what makes a real-life harmonious relationship in their September issue, on newsstands now.
On creating a lasting relationship:
“I think love can come fairly easily and grow—but really liking the core essence of someone is a much harder thing to bottle. If you have both, you’re in pretty good shape. My wife and I really, really like each other as well as love each other. We definitely laugh together every day. And I don’t mean chuckle—I can maker her really laugh."
On why guys get so attached to their cars:
“Because it’s our horse. It’s the horse of the 20th century—one of the ways a guy can express his personality. We’re primal, wired to connect to our mode of transport.”
