“I knew I wanted to do something that was opposite to what I normally do as my work is generally clean and simple with muted tones. That is why I wanted dirtier, busier, more colourful images. I wanted to experiment with different colour lights and textures. The shoots were quite fun, and I got to make my models all dirty and throw oil and dirt on them. I think they enjoyed it too.”

Hey everybody! I just wanted to say sorry for the lack of posts over the last week or so. I've gotten several emails from people who have expressed concern that the blog had come to a halt. Never fear... things will be back on track within a couple days. I've been traveling a lot and just haven't been able to post as usual.
I've had a great time here in NYC over the last couple of days... was great to see friends, see New York Fashion Week, eat the best bagels in the world, etc. I fly back tomorrow evening after a meeting with NBC - so Ethan Says will be saying a lot come Thursday. :) Until then, enjoy a sample of Dylan Rosser's "Dirty Boys", a new addition to his "X-Posed" gallery set for launch on February 8th. As promised, Homorific brings you a member's only preview from London-based photographer Dylan Rosser's newest and much anticipated gallery, Man Candy. As the third addition to his online portfolio, Man Candy follows two other Homorific galleries, The Male Form and X-Posed. Man Candy offers less nudity than Rosser's other galleries, but offers much more in the way of model stats and information, shoot locations, links to the model's web sites, even a few quips here and there.
Where as Man Candy's predecessors were more focused on male eroticism, Man Candy is playful and light - but ever just as sexy and beautiful. Definitely worth the price of membership, at a mere $20 (U.S), members have unlimited access to the site including uncensored galleries, desktop wallpapers, discounts on prints, and model contact details when available. You might recall a previous post about Dylan Rosser where we talked about his gallery, The Male Form, and his ability to portray the male body in an artistic, almost sculptural way. Holding true to that philosophy while leaning more toward eroticism, Dylan Rosser holds our attention once more with his newest gallery, X-Posed. In the Male Form gallery, Dylan wanted to steer clear of images that were too hot for daytime - you know, erections, sexual positioning, etc. But with X-Posed, he pushes the boundaries and takes us from daytime to late night (NSFW).

To me, photography that focuses more on the physical beauty of the male form is much more enticing than photography that focuses more on the sexual side of things. I want to be lured in, held captive, and enticed by what lies beyond the physical form. Dylan Rosser's photography of The Male Form offer's just what I need...sculptural beauty, athleticism, and sensuality.
While 'members' of his site get full access to uncensored galleries and gorgeous desktop wallpapers, there's plenty of man candy to gaze upon even without membership.
