CHRIS HEMSWORTH IS MIGHTY THOR

Nikki Finke says 25-year-old Australian actor/hottie Chris Hemsworth has been cast as Thor, the mighty god of thunder, in the Marvel Studios action film releasing May, 2011. You might recognize Chris from J.J. Abrams' Star Trek (now playing) where he plays the role of Captain Kirk's father, 'George Kirk'. It reported that Daniel Craig turned down the lead role. But, if that's the case, I think Marvel Studios and director Kenneth Branagh made the right decision in choosing Chris. Check the NEXT PAGE for another photo.
