Brad Pitt tries to keep a low-pro while riding his custom motorcycle through Hollywood this afternoon. The task proved difficult when the bike stalled and he had to push it to the side of the road. In the latest issue of W, Pitt says that his motorcycle helmet is his way of protecting his identity. “This is my anonymity,” Brad told the mag. “With it, I’m just another a–hole on the streets.” Yeah. On that bike?  I don't think so.

BRAD PITT KEEPS MOVING FOR W MAGAZINE

Brad Pitt masters the art of superstardom in the February issue of W Magazine. Inside, Pitt is described as unfailingly gracious and good-humored as he answers all of Kevin West's questions - including those about his family (a.k.a the "cuckoo's nest"), the ongoing Brad-Jen-Angelina saga, his passionate advocacy for affordable housing, and his views on gay rights. Having contributed $100,000 last year to California’s “No on Prop 8” campaign, Pitt said that he and Jolie will not wed until marriage rights are available to all.

“People who are against gay marriage do not understand the very freedoms that they themselves are enjoying,” he argues. “What if someone said, ‘Sorry, no Christianity here? No Judaism. Certainly no Mormons.’ No one would stand for that, and I wouldn’t allow anyone to say that either. I’d fight them in the same way.”

BRAD PITT IS GREEN FOR ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST

Brad Pitt on the cover of this month's Architectural Digest and in the spotlight for his Make It Right Foundation...a group of architects, residents and community leaders brought together by Pitt for the purpose of rebuilding a post-Katrina New Orleans.  Embodying green technology and sustainable design, the homes being built to bring back the Lower 9th Ward are fast becoming the model for other areas around the world.

“We’ve cracked something here," said Pitt, "…these houses redefine affordable housing…this is a proving ground for a bigger idea that could work globally.  This project is not mine anymore. It’s so beyond me.”

BRAD PITT SHELLS OUT $100,000 IN SUPPORT OF GAY MARRIAGE

Brad Pitt has donated $100,000 to fight California's November ballot initiative called Proposition 8 that would overturn the state's Supreme Court ruling legalizing gay marriage.

"Because no one has the right to deny another their life, even though they disagree with it, because everyone has the right to live the life they so desire if it doesn't harm another and because discrimination has no place in America, my vote will be for equality and against Proposition 8," Pitt said Wednesday.
