Chita Rivera: 'And Now I Swing'

Chita Rivera, one of the greatest stage actresses of all time, sings songs from and signs copies of her new solo studio CD And Now I Swing last night, October 19, at the Barnes & Noble, Lincoln Triangle in NYC. This new album features new takes on classic theater songs from shows such as Chicago, Sweet Charity, The Happy Time and The Visit, and revitalizes jazz standards made famous by the likes of Frank Sinatra, Peggy Lee, Billie Holiday and Vera Lynn.

And Now I Swing reflects the intimate and warm-natured side of Chita that have become mainstays at her numerous concert appearances. Album producer and Yellow Sound Label co-founder Michael Croiter says, “And Now I Swing is a realization of one of Chita’s lifelong dreams.
