Sacha Sacket Transforms with "Hermitage"

Herm192309a

Popular openly-gay singer-songwriter Sacha Sacket will release his fourth studio album, HERMITAGE, on Nov. 17, 2009. The new five-song EP follows Sacket’s critically-acclaimed 2007 release LOVERS & LEADERS - which American Songwriter Magazine hailed as “a melodic song cycle coupled with extraordinary lyrical depth” - sonically capturing his classical leanings, while interweaving electronics and modern rock.

Recorded by the self-taught piano rocker in a California mountain cabin, to which he disappeared after an exhaustive touring schedule, Sacket says of the album, "HERMITAGE revolves around isolation and how that experience can transform you. When you are on your own and haven’t seen anyone for more than a week, strange things rise to the surface. In some cases, issues you didn’t even know were there. You think about your life completely differently.”

The album’s first single, “Running Away,” hits the airwaves in mid-October along with a corresponding music video. Fans will also have the option of a limited edition release which gives a more visual experience of the album, with its unique packaging that includes an additional track, extra photos, a personally signed note, and several items one could discover within his mountain retreat.

More to come as we near the album's release date. In the meantime, visit Sacha Sacket’s official web site, www.sachasacket.com for more information.
