MICHAEL JACKSON PRODUCED 'CENTIPEDE'
I had no idea that Michael Jackson was the mastermind behind his sister Rebbie's 1984 hit single "Centipede." But I discovered tonight that after Michael's mega-success with Thriller, he was given the chance to write and produce, and made "Centipede" his first project. The song subsequently went gold and reached #4 on the R&B charts.
Listening to it now, it's so unmistakably Michael's music...and his voice (listen to the high-pitched 'Centipeeeede'). The song is a little odd but I love the chorus (@ 1:50). Give it a listen!

I'm pretty sure he wrote and produced a song before this one. If I'm not mistaken he wrote 'Muscles' for Diana Ross in 1982. He also sang backup vocals.

It's so obvious Michael's voice is featured in the backing vocals. Great he reached out to Reba on this hit.
