ESQUIRE USES E-INK FOR 75th ANNIVERSARY ISSUE

The future of magazines has arrived. To celebrate their 75th Anniversary, Esquire magazine's October 2008 cover will utilize electronic ink. Assembled by hand, the cover took a year to develop and traveled 7,000 miles across the globe before landing in newsstands. With flashing words and images that change, the life expectancy of the e-ink cover is only 90 days. But don't fret. Changing the coin cell battery shouldn't present much of a problem.
