On July 1, 2008, Shout Factory releases Raw Spice: The Unofficial Story Of The Making Of The Spice Girls on DVD. A behind-the-scenes documentary following the pre-fame lives of the five girls (Posh/Victoria Adams (Beckham), Scary/Melanie Brown, Baby/Emma Bunton, Sporty/Melanie Chisholm, and Ginger/Geri Halliwell), Raw Spice shares never-before-seen footage of the girls before the blockbuster hits, weddings, babies, and blowouts...beginning on the day of their auditions and leading up to their first hit "WannaBe." This is before stylists, PR people and makeup artists. In essence, pure, raw, Spice.
