GEORGE MICHAEL: 25 LIVE IN SAN JOSE

Somewhere near the starting point of George Michael's concert in San Jose last night, he commented that "it's not always easy being a George Michael fan." Hard or not, my friends and I, along with 18,000 other forgiving fans, packed ourselves into the HP Pavilion and set aside the tabloid scandals, bathroom loitering, and 17 year hiatus, and were treated to a spectacular two+ hour set. Watch his grand entrance below.
With enormous digital screens behind him and a band situated on tiered scaffolding, GM performed several of his largest hits - from the old days of Wham! ("Everything She Wants"), to some of my favorite ballads ("Kissing A Fool", "One More Try"), to modern day club anthems ("Amazing", "Flawless"), to several new tracks from 25 Live. (CONTD.)

At the audience's request, George Michael ended the show with "FREEDOM," saying, "Never let it disappear." I didn't want to let him go. I wanted the concert to go on and on. He stayed away too long, and left too soon. If you have the chance to catch GM's last tour...DO! You won't be sorry! Watch GM's final exit below.

Thanks to Penners2000 for the great photos!

OMG! Thank you for capturing this! I too went to the show and we had the most amazing time ever! I have always been in love with George Michael but this validated everything I have always said about him. He is by FAR one of the most talented artists of our time. People have asked me if there was anything about this show I didn't like and my response is always, "YES, it ended!" I wish he would have played for 8 hours! I was up on my feet the entire time and lost my voice from screaming so much!
I hope the rumours are wrong and that this wasn't his last tour. Next time you're going to find me front row, center stage!
Thank you!

I was in the second row just on the right, and I was so excited I did not take any pictures or video, until the very end, so it was great to see these, (i think the back of my head is in several of them!)
What a great show...bummed that it is over, and that he is not planning to tour again..

I have to agree so much with what you said about him being gone too long and left too fast.. I went to the last show in Ft. Lauderdale and I am still in the clouds. I can not begin to even put in words what his concert did to me.. I seen him 17 years ago and I thought nothing could compare to that -- I was wrong.
Thanks for posting
ps - do you know where I can get a Tour Book?
