JUSTIN RUDD IS A PROUD MARY

I might live in San Francisco, but my roots are based in Long Beach. So of course I have to make a post about the Long Beach Pride Festival & Parade, the 3rd largest in the nation, now attracting over 75,000 participants over the two-day celebration with more than 200 marching groups and floats. And what better person to marshal the parade than Frontier Magazine's cover boy - Justin Rudd, the area’s most influential and powerful community activist and LBPOST's "Person of the Year". His proudest accomplishment...“The dog beach, of all things,” he says without hesitation. “You go out there on any afternoon, you'll see so many dogs out there loving it, enjoying it. It makes me so proud.” As a dog person myself, I'd be proud to!
