Shot by leading fashion photographers (Gavin Harrison, Gregory Vaughan, Wander Aguiar and Robert Mendolia) based both in the UK and USA, the covers feature some of the hottest male models from both sides of the Atlantic.
The 50th edition hits UK newsstands on April 30th. Highlights include: (click link below)
...a special focus on dance, part two of fashionable and secret history of gay men’s clothes, a new series on Hollywood’s Greats and a focus on the forthcoming exhibition at the Handel House Museum in London. New York interior designer Dane Bailey reports from the US on interior trends and there are interviews with jewellery designer Hannah Martin and global accessories king, Robert Tateossian. All My Children star Aiden Turner (and former reFRESH cover) and Dantes Cove actor Jon Fleming both strip off for the camera and we showcase the work of upcoming photographers, Wander Aguiar and Eric Sposito.
Founded in 2002, reFRESH was originally produced as a monthly title, before re-defining itself as a coffee table title produced alternate monthly in 2005. The new, larger format struck a chord with gay men around the world with its blend of culture and the arts, property and interiors, fashion, photography and travel.
“Editor-in-Chief David Tickner, who launched and has helmed the magazine since the first issue, is pleased to celebrate this milestone for the magazine, “To retain an unbroken presence on the newsstand for the last six years is a testimony to the dedication and hard work of all the people who work and support the magazine. It seemed entirely fitting that we should therefore do something special to celebrate our 50th edition and since we have always had a top quality photography in the magazine since Issue 1, producing four covers for our readers seemed particularly appropriate.”
